Day 1 – Riohacha to Cabo de la Vela

Departure: 8:30 AM from Riohacha

Travel through Manaure, visiting the famous salt flats and salt hills, then continue to Uribia, the indigenous capital of Colombia. Cross cactus forests and the Carrizal Desert on your way to Cabo de la Vela.

Enjoy lunch and beach time, then visit Arcoíris Beach and Ojo de Agua Beach, where you can relax and feel the Caribbean breeze. End the day with a spectacular multicolored sunset from the lighthouse hill.

Dinner and overnight stay in a comfortable chinchorro (hammock) at Posada Turística Pujurú.

Day 2 – Pilón de Azúcar & Return

After breakfast, take a scenic walk up Pilón de Azúcar Hill, enjoying panoramic views of the desert, sea, and sky. Cool off with a swim at Dorada Beach, followed by lunch.

In the afternoon, return to Riohacha.
